Hikers can enjoy themselves in Thuringia with more than 16,000 km of hiking trails. Germany's most famous and oldest hiking trail, the Rennsteig, runs along the ridge of the Thuringian Forest.

Landferienhaus Linde is located on the sunny side of the Thuringian Forest between the Rennsteig and Frankenland, in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Thüringer Wald. The varied landscape of mixed forest, special rock formations and magnificent views is a paradise for hikers. Here we have selected and described the most beautiful hiking trails.
