A word of introduction...

Enjoying nature, hospitality, good company and good food are for us valuable things in life.

Douw was trained in South Africa as a specialist walking safari guide, and Linda in the Netherlands as a medical technician. After we met, Linda exchanged the microscope for the binoculars. Douw looks a little further even and likes to admire the stars with his self-built telescope.

Together we have managed several top safari lodges in southern Africa for 12 years. In 2012 our daughter Anouk came to enrich our lives and we chose for the safety of Europe.
In the Thüringer Wald we have found a place where we can combine the advantages of Europe with our passion for nature.

We enjoy giving our guests an unforgettable holiday in beautiful surroundings.
